Yes, I snapped this picture out on a home staging consultation the other day! The real estate agent made the appointment and paid for the service because he knew the home wouldn't sell in it's current state.

This was the master bedroom located on East 84th Street in New York City and the agent was correct this home was in dire need of some updating, however, the seller was hesitant to use a home stager. Learn how to overcome 5 common myths about home staging.

And if doesn't have to be expensive with fine furniture, etc. it is just a matter of neutral taste to look good. Agents should include this investment as part of their marketing package when listing a property.
