The Dustbowl Revival will be held on May 19 at the Palm Desert Civic Amphitheater. Tickets are free but you do need to RSVP. This life music event at the amphitheater is sponsored by the City of Palm Desert.
This Americana and bluegrass band the Dustbowl Revival features bluegrass music, swing, jazz and prewar blues with a little bit of southern soul thrown in. There New Orleans funk features American roots orchestra mixing the sounds of traditional American music into a genre hopping, time bending dance party. This celebration of sounds will create a unique mix between this eight membered band.
The Dustbowl Revival has concert dates spread out all throughout California and across the country throughout the summer ending finally back in Templeton California. Most tickets are at least $20 but this unique, one-of-a-kind opportunity is promoted by the City of Palm Desert offering free tickets for anyone that would love to attend.
The Dustbowl Revival has received numerous awards and was awarded the best live band in LA. The Outside Lands Music Festival stated, "it was an old time medicine show featuring the kind of roots music that normally isn't my cup of twang, except it offered great bands like the Dustbowl Revival, whose Americana swing was so fun I went back to see them again the next day. Rolling Stones, the Los Angeles times, LA weekly and Music City Roots all sing the praises of the Dustbowl Revival.
