From those little glossy Real Estate Guides to Digital Flyer Marketing

I remember the days when the #1 source for property listings were those little glossy magazines you'd pick up at the local grocery or convenience store.

When I would go on family vacations as child, I remember my father, who was always interested in Real Estate, would stop every chance he'd get to pick up a local real estate guide to see what the homes were going for in the area.

Whether we were spending the day in St Thomas on departure from a cruise, or Charleston SC, a few Real Estate guides always managed to find their way into our daily pickups. (much to my mother's dismay)

I find it so interesting that even in today's digital age, you can still find these small 5x7 booklets around.

Me being a lady of the 21st century, if you ask me, I'd much rather create a beautiful digital flyer online, and blast that sucker out to as many local Realtors I could.

Pro Real Estate Marketers out there should be using flyerco.com in conjunction with FlyerUs.com to create your stunning promotional flyers, and email them out to the thousands of other Realtors in your market.

What is your marketing method of choice to promote your listings.

Does any one create flyers? And if so, what tools are you using?

Three words: No Customer Service.

I set up an account on FlyerCo to design an online flyer. I liked the service and thought I might use it. After using it one time, I canceled the service. Months later I discovered they were still charging me, so I contacted them via email and was prompted promised that they would take care of it. That was in April, months after using the service 1 time. Now it is may and they have continued to bill me $10 a month. I contacted them again online and they have promised me again that they will take care of the FUTURE billings. They also told me that I have not canceled the service and my communications with them via email and their response to my emails were meaningless, because their customer service group did not complete the cancellation until 6 days ago.

This problem with these $10 a month services, there is little motivation on their part to act with a strong sense of customer service because few people will write a bad review of a company that they have already had to waste hours just getting them to stop billing them. Filing a complaint with the bank is not worth the time and writing a bad review is not worth it. So, they get away with over charging customers for a long period of time and then declare that it was the customer's fault, not their fault. Is it really worth my time to continue to waste time telling others how bad their customer service is? Probably not, but I am telling you. Find another company to design your fliers, unless you want to pay this company for their services for a very long time into the future.

Hello T, I'm very sorry for the trouble you had cancelling your service. I do see that it was cancelled earlier this month. Unfortunately I was not able to find any records of a prior communication requesting cancellation.

It is not our practice to ignore requests to stop subscriptions. I apologize if for some reason your email was missed.
