          What it means to work at Keller Williams goes beyond any amount of money or materialistic items that one can acquire. The friendships and relationships developed have created a foundation for new goals and opportunities. The rare ability to be trained by top-producing agents and the possibility of passive income both differentiate Keller Williams from any other business corporation as it is. But the power of continuity in a work environment that creates motivation, service, and value is the core to what makes our company distinguished from the rest.

           Recently, our CFO/MCA passionately introduced a “Wall of Value” at our office that consists of agent feedback on what they find valuable about Keller Williams. The values are typed up on an image of a brick and then printed on computer paper. Associates throughout the office began to stack in their “bricks” of value, filling our wall with the various beliefs, training, and events we have to offer. The bricks that stood out were the responses on culture, whether it was “At Keller Williams We Build Lasting Relationships” or something as simple as “Everyone HELPS!”.  

           This brilliant idea from our CFO has been a kick start to our annual event that defines KW culture, Red Day, which took place on May 12th.

Red Day is Keller Williams annual day of service. It stands for Renew, Energize, Donate. It’s a day where all Keller Williams Associates, around the world, stop what they’re doing for one day and give back to their communities. This year Keller Williams Realty Landmark I & II rehabilitated the Variety Boys and Girls Club of Queens, NY.

The Variety Boys and Girls Club of Queens is a non-profit organization that provides youths with affordable after school programs. Their after school programs focus on personal & educational development, citizenship & leadership development, cultural enrichment, Health & physical education and social recreation. It’s a safe and fun learning environment that provides youths an alternative to being on the streets.

On the morning of May 12th, 2016 over 80 Keller Williams Realty Landmark I & II associates committed their day to rehabilitating the facility at the Boys & Girls club. When we arrived, we realized that we had a a lot of work to do, but because we had over 80 pairs of helping hands, we were not discouraged.

We restored the outdoor playground..

  

Cleaned up the gym..

 

Painted the auditorium..

 

Painted the pool area...

 

Cleaned and organized closet space.. 

 

Painted the Boys Locker Room...

 

Entertained the children...

   

Not only did we help out the Boys and Girls Club,

but we also helped out one another...

 

The whole experience was life changing. The teamwork that was witnessed among the group was magical. We took on any project that we could find and didn't stop until it was done. This is why Keller Williams stands out among the rest. Our culture is like no other.
