No One Is That Busy!

By
Real Estate Agent with Associate Broker at Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Georgia Properties 256152

I once heard a national horse dung salesman (training guru) say that we are idiots for going to closings. Claimed he went to his first closing and deemed it a waste of time. He sends people to get the check.

I view it as an opportunity to cement the relationship for down the road. You can also hold the client's hand if there is one of the typical delays. You can demonstrate that it's just as important that they get their money is it is for you to get yours.

I also know that we can actually list and sell a home these days without leaving the office or meeting the clients. Caution: clients can play that game too!

I will continue to meet them and shake their hand.

Ron it is interesting how technology allows us to depersonalize and desensitize the transactions. Every person I ended up meeting face to face has translated to multiple transactions.... those that I only did via the Internet much fewer repeat transactions...on a side note in CA we do not have closing with the round table and I agree with you about the Gurus....Endre
