When it comes time to selecting mirrors for your home, consider these quick general guidelines from a feng shui perspective.
- Consider rounded or curved designed mirror frames when possible.
Why? This relates to a smoother and more inviting flow of energy within your home. If you have a square or rectangular, that is just fine. Then keep in mind the other suggestions below.
- Consider purchasing mirrors that are NOT fractured. Instead, select mirrors that offer a SOLID reflective surface.
Why? This offers less confusion when glancing into the mirror.
- Consider the size of the mirror's diameter. Surfaces that allow you to see your entire head, shoulders and chest are ideal.
Why? This is called "capturing your aura." In Feng Shui its important to be able to see the whole you, vs seeing yourself though a fractionated surface for literal, energetic and psychological purposes.
