Yolanda, Venice is a special place and we were so fortunate to get the opportunity to experience it. 

Yolanda, love living vicariously through you and Bob.   Venice sure is colorful and what an experience.

Yolanda, Venice is a magical place but certainly loaded with a lot of tourists just like us.. 

NO wonder my sister wants to go to Venice! This is so colorfully enchanting! I had (mistakenly) heard that it was really dirty. Not so by these photos! So glad that you two get to be "loves" in Venice. Just got back from a trip to Chicago, Cleveland (my sis lives there and we were bringing back her dtr. from Chicago) and then I went to NYC to see Joanna Cohlan for a most INCREDIBLE trip--sheer perfection! 

It only gives me more of a travel bug bite!!!

It's been in me for years, as well. Heck, I moved clear across the country in NOVEMBER from Philly to Portland with no job, no place to live and knew only one person and I was 23!!! Kinda crazy, but gotta say, the drive across the US was so very fascinating and the sense of adventure in seeing new places and connecting with people is truly what makes my heart sing!

Love Venice Yolanda - there is nothing like getting lost is the alleys and running around in circles that always seem to look different from a different perspective.  Your photos definitely caught it! While Firenze is still my favorite, I must get back to Venice one more time!
