So here my thoughts on the new Bonita Springs high school. Number one, I'd like to say that going forward for Bonita Springs, I think it is extremely important that the city has their own high school.
Being a local realtor and with a large portion of my sales generated specifically in Bonita Springs I find it almost embarrassing that I find my self in the position of telling my clients that we use the high school in Estero because we don't have our own.
From that standpoint alone, a build is necessary.
Depending on your age, you may have a difference of opinion and being of hopefully sound mind and body, you are thinking rationally. If for example you are over the age of having high school age children in your household and none of your high school age relatives live in Bonita Springs, you probably feel a high school in Bonita Springs in totally unnecessary and based upon YOUR needs you are correct!
But the future will come and it is inevitable that the time will come if it has not already that our wonderful city gets it's own high school.
My original thought was it is not necessary, but I was wrong.
Perhaps the proposed location will cause myself and others delays in our travels to and from our homes. I guess this is to be expected no matter will the school is built, the fact is Bonita Springs is a fast growing city with quickly rising property values, and we need to take our city to the plateau that it so deservedly has earned and get the school location finalized and get OUR school built.
At the end of the day, I think it will be a prudent move for this school to be built and most if not all homeowners will reap the benefits that this school will bring.
So if you agree with my thoughts on the new proposed Bonita Springs high school, please join me in support of our city, if you disagree, take a good hard look at your reasoning and ask yourself as I did "am I being selfish"?
