Situated just five miles west of downtown Franklin Tennessee is, as my hippie daughter would say, the Bourgeoisie paradise known as Westhaven. To most residents Westhaven truly is paradise or is at least as close as you can get in suburbia. Designed as a mini-town Westhaven (a PUD community) has or will have everything you need to live within walking distance of your home such as restaurants, grocery, shops, doctor’s offices, daycare, liquor store and a public school. I’m not sure the liquor store is a necessity for everyone but if you have pre-adolescent twenty something’s living with you, I can guarantee it is. The bounce back generation, find them a home!
Westhaven caters to the way you live, large front porches, sidewalks; parks and lush landscaping give the folks wonderful opportunities to get to know one another. There’s a unique sense of community that sets Westhaven apart and residents genuinely enjoy living there. Life at Westhaven is friendly and social, with a full calendar of activities and and a variety of amenities. The social anchor of the community is the clubhouse and pool complex. The activities are limitless: Athletics and health; continuing education, clubs, arts and music; concerts and charity events; festivals and block parties; hiking, biking, walking, running, and canoeing. If you can’t find it in Westhaven take a 30 minute drive in to the Music City and whatever it is that you’re looking for you will find it, I guarantee.
If you are considering a move to Franklin Tennessee; find a Realtor and make sure you take a look at Westhaven. The Williamson county market is booming so a local expert is imperative and will make a complicated process fun and effortless. Come for a visit and if you see Duke on Main Street come up and say hi.
