How can you tell if a neighborhood is a good one? One way is to drive the neighborhood, looking at the other homes in the neighborhood, the condition of the exterior of the homes, the condition of the cars in the drive, etc.
Another way is to talk to the neighbors, after all, they're the ones who are there every day and night. They're the ones the know what's going on.

Here's something else that demonstrates what a great neighborhood it is - when people want to move their friends and family into the neighborhood. At a recent open house, I met a man who lived down the street who's looking to find a home for his mom and dad. They love the idea that mom and dad could live just up the street, and that shopping, dining and health care is located very close by.
A little while later, and older gentleman came by who said his son and daughter and their grand kids were moving to Albuquerque in about a month, and he wanted them to buy in the neighborhood because they like the quality of the Oppel Jenkins homes, the quietness of the neighborhood and the reputation of the schools.
I'll sum it up by saying that Riverview Estates is a great place to buy a home!
