Steak or fish. Or write in Costa Rica.
Why is travel to Costa Rica up so much this year? Hmmm.
Now is a great time to check out your future life in Costa Rica. Surf? Snorkel? Scuba? Paddleboard? Golf? Bike? Bird watch? Monkey watch? Ride horses? River raft? Zip line? Volcano climb? Enjoy privacy and nature?
I have lived just outside Tamarindo ten years now. Blue skies, white sand beaches, no army, little traffic and a wonderful mix of neighbors from everywhere. OK, bad roads, but better than before. Really.
Eight years ago I finished The Oaks Tamarindo, a luxury mid-priced community with four pools, nature trail, extensive green areas and easy access to great beaches. We focus on vacation rentals for about 20 of our owners, plus long term rentals and resales. Many of our early owners were Canadians. Thanks to the fall of the Looney, some of our owners offer amazing resales as they profit from the exchange rate. As these sell, the price of each remaining unit is just a little higher.
In keeping with my goal of not working too hard, I have just added James Landis, a new owner and licensed California real estate broker, to our team. Like me, James is a youngster under 70, with over 40 years of real estate experience and over 10 years experience living here. James can help you with all your questions while I am napping. First step is to get on the plane. To find us, check out www.theoaksrentals.com. Watch our you tube videos on The Oaks Tamarindo channel. Or get a broad view and check out hotels and lodgings at www.booking.com. Order your search by User Reviews in Tamarindo, Guanacaste, and you will find us fast enough. I expect to see you early birds before November.
