My Grand Daughter is in track.
A sport which can be very boring except for the minute or so she runs.
The coaches have a rule that everyone stays until the last runner is done.
And you don't just sit on the sidelines and watch.
No...you run from one side of the track to the other cheering on you team member who is running the last race.
Here they come...
And there they go...flag raised high!
And it isn't just the students...ALL the coaches run with them.
Now that's what I call team spirit. What distances does you daughter like to run?
Hi William Feela , That is a great way to instill getting involved. When I ran track, it was not just an individual event. We had to beat the other team in total points, so the team was very supportive when each event was run.
Congratulations to your daughter for getting involved in sports. It's great discipline for the future.

There is a team with spirit. Many times by the end of the meet everyone is getting ready to go home and the last runnes are sorta forgotten
