Hollywood: Tourist Mecca

Real Estate Agent with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties 01238708

Hollywood one of the  Tourist Mecca's of the greater Los Angeles area. Today as many other times,, I was rushing late to a showing. As it turns out, the quickest way to the appointment required me to go right through the middle of Hollywood. Now keep in mind not just Hollywood but the epicenter of the Tourist Mecca. Hollywood Blvd and Highland Ave.

Needless to say I thought you would enjoy this picture as I sat in heavy Tourist Traffic. The good news was, once I went past the next two block traffic opened up.

Now on the way back things were different, there was a function at the Hollywood Bowl, more heavy traffic. Followed by there was some movie premier on Hollywood Blvd because the road was closed and I saw lots of Traffic Control vehicles trying to direct traffic.

Anyway no big deal just another day in the life of a Los Angeles Realtor. Needless to say I am grateful that this city is such a destination place for people from all over the Globe.

Now if you are considering Re-Locating to the Greater Los Angeles area please reach out to me directly.

Hollywood Blvd.   A Saturday night playground while in high school.  Temple City.  Last time I was there did not hardly recognize it, but for the good ole Chineese Grahmens, with all the foot prints.  I would be afraid to see the changes from 10 years past that.  Thanks for the pic.  Mark

When I came here, the first thing I wanted to visit it was exactly this:) I think, I never was there since, just for movies or concerts, but not walking....

There are those touristy areas that you generally stay away from once you've seen them. I agree, guys.

Did you use any lenses of an unusual sort when you took these photos? Really great stuff! I was just curious!

Endre,

I love your weather but I hate hate your traffic, it makes our look like child's play. I would be scared to drive in LA.

Endre, LA certainly has a huge tourist business to say the least and the city gets all kinds benefits from all these visitors but the good comes with the bad traffic as you are painfully aware. Yolanda is correct as driving in LA is dangerous and difficult and much harder than here. Saying that Houston traffic is no day in the park!!
