Memorial Day is just six days away. What better way to honor those that gave their lives for your freedom than to give something back to the community? At the 2016 College Station Memorial Day Pancake Breakfast and Garage Sale, you can have your (pan)cake and eat it, too.
What: 2016 College Station Memorial Day Pancake Breakfast and Garage Sale
Where: Church of Jesus Christ of Ladder-Day Saints (2815 Welsh Ave)
When: Monday, May 30th, 8am to 10am
Cost: $5/person or $20/family

2016 College Station Memorial Day Pancake Breakfast and Garage Sale
The 2016 College Station Memorial Day Pancake Breakfast and Garage Sale will start off with a special flag ceremony at 8am. One of our local veterans will say a few words to commemorate this special day and acknowledge the sacrifices given by many brave men and women throughout our nation's history. After that, breakfast will be served. Guests will have the opportunity to feast on delicious pancakes and other tasty breakfast dishes. Wash it down with milk or juice. All this costs just $5 per person. You can also feed your entire family for just $20.
After your tummies are satisfied, it is time to start shopping. Several families have donated items to sell at the Memorial Day Garage Sale located on church grounds. As they say, one man's trash is another man's treasure. Come prepared to find just about anything: clothing, tools, books, shoes, home decor, etc. Just make sure you bring cash.
Proceeds from the 2016 College Station Memorial Day Pancake Breakfast and Garage Sale will benefit the our Boy Scout Troop 967. The Boy Scouts of America has been helping to shape young men into productive, caring members of our community since 1910. Troop 967 has been in operation for 10 years now, with 17 scouts earning the top honor of Eagle Scout since its inception.
