This weekend in Chatham-Kent will be jam packed with family fun. It is our annual Retrofest Weekend starting with the famous Classic Car OLG Parade on Friday Evening at 6 P.M. The Vintage Cars, Trucks and even some Motorcycles will meet on Friday night at 4 P.M. at the Bradley Convention Centre on Richmond St.. They will leave the parking lot at 6 P.M. where they will proceed down Richmond St. to the Bloomfield, down the Bloomfield to Riverview Line, out along the Thames River to the Prairie Siding Bridge, over the bridge and back to Historic Downtown Chatham via the River Road on the Dover side. Spectators line the parade route to enjoy the show of approximately 700 vehicles. You can also wander around the parking lot  before 6 P.M. if you are heading downtown or to the Capitol Theatre or to King St. for some musical entertainment.

 There will be a show in front of the Downtown Chatham Centre on Friday night. Also, at the Capitol Theatre on Historic Downtown King St., Studio Black Productions will present a Disney Musical Spectacular at 7 P.M. on Friday and Saturday Evenings. This is a live Concert for the whole family with music from everybody's favorite Disney movies like, the Lion King, Frozen, the Little Mermaid and more. Tickets are $20.00 for adults and only $10.00 for Children 12 and under.  Some years there has been an outdoor movie but this alternative is wonderful, come rain, shine or cooler temperature.

Saturday the Classic Cars will start to line up on King St. as early as 5 A.M. vying for the best spots. It is a  real celebration with the Downtown being closed off and these beautiful cars lining both sides of the street. 

Tecumseh Park will have amusement rides for the children, vendors, food, a beer tent and plenty of entertainment on the Bandshell. Check the  website for details.
