I do not know who started this or when they first named May 29 as ," Learn Baout Composting day ' I just read it in the carrier Pigeon , a monthly free magazine that I receive. Check out www.theuptightsuburbanite.com. It is interesting to see that they have something for each day of the month of May.
I am always amazed by the variety of days that you come up with! from composting to eat more donuts to kiss a toad! Have a great day!

Gita, I should learn to compost and add to my garden, but so far I have not.
I have never composted, but then again, I have never had a garden. It wouldn't hurt to learn how to compost though!
Well I have a composter for years already so I can do this one!
