One of the dilemmas bloggers face is coming up with content. You can find lists all over the internet, including this one that should give you enough fodder for years of real estate blogging - 300+ Blogging Ideas.
But here's an easy way to write multiple posts from one original idea, and give you good SEO as well.
I recently wrote two posts that were numbered lists - 10 Commandments for Sellers and 10 Things Your Realtor Can't Tell You.
Let's use one of those posts (10 Commandments), and count the original post as #1. Take each of the numbered items in the post and write a complete blog post about that item and link back to your original post.
For example, in #5 there is a link to a previous post I wrote about how important it is for Sellers not to be home for showings. Then I could write an entire post about how important it is to not turn down a showing and put a link it to #1.
And another post on the dangers of opening the door to a stranger and how you as a Seller should never, ever, ever let someone into your home who knocks on your door just because it's for sale, and then link that post back to #2.
If I go down the list of 10 bullet points in the original post (or however many there are) and write an entire post about each, that gives me at least 11 posts from my original thought. With links to other posts you've written in your original post (and vice versa) that gives you a lot of authority on a subject.
So if you're looking for something to write about, go through your old posts that may be bulleted and write posts about each of the bullet points and link back to your original post.
