Today I received the following email from Daniel Dobbs, our local Southern California lender.
Nope, I am not a golfer, not even a miniature golfer enthusiast. However, I am a strong supporter of honoring and showing my appreciation to the USMC families. So folks, mark your calendar for the greatest golf tournament event scheduled for Southern California. You still have plenty of time to coordinate and seek out your golf buddies. If you can't make it to the tournament, at least consider donating and showing your appreciation for their services and sacrifices so that we may enjoy our freedom in this country.
The event will be held October 14th at the Marine Memorial Golf Course, located at 18415 Mainside, Camp Pendleton North, CA 92055. Nestled amongst the Windmill Canyons hillsides, this is one of the best-kept secrets of Camp Pendleton. The golf course is the ingenuity of architect William P. "Billy" Bell. This PGA championship course is known for its bunker shaping designs. For information and directions, contact them at 760-725-4653.

The City of Mission Viejo and the 1st Marine Division HQ Battalion are hosting our 5th annual “Tee it Up for Marines” Golf Tournament.
The tournament is hosted “on base” at the Marine Memorial Golf Course.
