The Sherman Historical Society is once again sponsoring its popular and much-awaited annual Memorial Day Weekend BARN SALE.
There are treasures and bargains for all! This year there is a particularly nice collection of antique furniture as well as the usual array of beautiful ceramics, crystal, chinaware, various kitchen small appliances and articles, art, toys and more!
In the morning there are also baked goods and coffee available for sale and as the day progresses, hot dogs and lunch beverages appear on the menu.

Ample parking is available just across the road, by the Sherman Library or behind the Sherman school.
While you’re there, stop in at the SHERMAN LIBRARY, where there is an annual Sherman Library Book Sale going on. You will find a fantastic selection of books, organized by category for easy browsing e.g. fiction, classics, non-fiction, memoirs, biographies, history, cook books, gardening and so on. There are specialty books, reference books, rare books, audio books and DVD’s on sale. Most hardcover books are at $2.00 and paperbacks at $1.00.
All proceeds from the Barn Sale in Sherman go to support the Sherman Historical Society and its efforts to maintain the town’s historical properties and to celebrate Sherman’s history. Sherman is a very special town!
