Breaking News: Name changes in the Status of a Listing in the greater Los Angeles area….
The Public will discover that there are a few name changes that they have not seen before. These changes will be noticed, when they are viewing the Status of a Listing in the Greater Los Angeles area.
Beginning June 1, 2016, per the CARETS MLS Rules & Regulations, the status label: "Looking for Back-Up Offers" will be changed to "Active Under Contract".
In the MLS system, the changes will include:
On the 1-line Reports, "B" will be replaced with "U".
On the detail reports and listing search, "Backup" will be replaced with "Active-Contract".
On the Listing Input Forms and Listing History Reports, "Looking for Backup or Backup Offer" will be replaced with "Active Under Contract".
Nothing major just there will be questions until everyone get used to the new terminology!
