The 4th Annual Atlanta Moon Ride will be held Friday June 10th, 2016 from 6pm to 11pm, a 6-mile nighttime bike ride through some of Atlanta’s coolest neighborhoods with several thousand of your closest friends! To all you riders, bike enthusiasts and Atlanta bicycle community, come participate in this fun ride. Gear up your bikes with a head lamp, bust out the flair and get ready to ride the streets. Costumes are encouraged!
Established in 2012, the Atlanta Moon Ride allows bike enthusiasts to ride at night without having to battle traffic all while showcasing Atlanta’s beautiful skyline. The ride begins and ends in Piedmont Park in Midtown Atlanta and hits popular Atlanta neighborhoods Old Fourth Ward, Ansley Park, Morningside and Virginia-Highland.
This 4th Annual Atlanta Moon Ride is open to anyone who wants to hit the streets, whether you’ve got a street bike, a mountain bike, a wheel chair or a good ole cruiser. Bring the family! This is a fun ride, and is appropriate for any skill level so come ride with us!
100% of the proceeds from this ride go to an awesome local charity, Bert’s Big Adventure. Bert’s Big Adventure is a nonprofit organization that provides a magical, all-expenses-paid, five-day journey to Walt Disney World® for children with chronic and terminal illnesses and their families.
