Good morning Elyse. A wonderful surprise. Just bought one at a fruit stand in Chicago yesterday! Enjoy your day!

Good morning Wayne Martin It truly was considering it was a vacant home with no one to tend to it.

Kathleen Daniels It was beautiful considering house was vacant. Don't you have fruit trees in San Jose?

Diana Zaccaro I hope you got some pineapple!
Good morning Elyse. I'm sure it wasn't anything that you expected to see, maybe a buyer will enjoy it once it is ripe.

Joe Petrowsky It really wasn't as the house was vacant. I've seen mango trees, avocado and banana. Have a great day and my best to Gail!
Hi Elyse. Is that a real pineapple? I thought they grew in trees.

Conrad Allen Yes, it really is. I don't think they grow on trees as I've seen them in another house growing the same way. On occasion, I have seen banana trees, mango trees and avocado trees, as well.
How fabulous is that to stumble upon a pineapple!!! So, did you break it open or leave it in situ?
Eyse, you can grow it too, just cut the head or the crown off the next pineapple you buy and plant it in good soil...Endre
p.s.: I failed because I did not have good soil where I planted it...:))Endre
