Trumbull CT April 2016  Real Estate Market Report

 

April 2016 home sales in Trumbull CT were UP an astounding 104% as compared to April 2015 sales.

The average listing and selling prices for April went down 13% and 12% respectively.  The median home price decreased 9%.  Read here about the difference between the sales average and median home price.


Going forward, there are 76 homes under deposit and 63 sales pending, higher futures than previous months.

 

The market absorption rate came in at 3.59 months which is statistically a seller's market.   While inventory increased only slightly, the strong number of sales kept the rate down. This means at the current pace, it would take 3.59 months to sell off the inventory of 183 homes.
