There Are 24 Hours In A Day | Make It Work For You!!
Marketing #1 activity each day, NO excuses. Barbara Todaro offers excellent advice in her post along with consequences if we're don't make marketing our #1 activity as real estate agents.
When real estate agents are out in the field working buyers and sellers, I’m devoting my time to marketing for “my peeps.” Marketing during this very busy period of time in the real estate business is a necessity, in order to leave no gaps with fresh, new calls. Gaps now will result in voids in production later.
Voids in production will result in no income until marketing is resumed and is provided consistently to reinforce and recondition readers to again remember the real estate agent’s name and brand.
That, in my opinion, is equivalent to reinventing the wheel. It’s mimicking what a newly licensed agent needs to do “to get off the blocks.” Oh, wait, that’s what every seasoned agent is experiencing who stops marketing. The agent is, once again, getting off the blocks!!
Marketing must be provided consistently and relentlessly. It’s a routine that is accomplished daily and will not only result in additional income now, but it will prevent gaps in income later. Be determined to block enough time every day to be visible online and offline.
Failure to do this task will guarantee those who DO accomplish it the “first shot” at new business that could have and should have been yours. That alone should be enough reason to spend additional time in real estate and devote it solely to marketing.
