Jenna, I liked reading this post. I don't put any energy into general real estate unless it is something that impacts all ... like HOA documents. I'm all about telling stories now ... making a connection with my voice - not the blah blah blah of bland and boring. I still do, from time to time, feel responsible when my client is impacted someones stupid. I feel like it is my job to protect my clients. Sometimes we just get hit with stupid ... then I go into triage mode.

Oh, of course, I do everything in my power to protect my client (even from themselves) but I don't lose sleep over it anymore. Try as I might, I don't control the world. ![]()
Good morning Jenna. Very well done post, the most important for me is the blame game. It is so destructive and why there is this need to blame others is crazy.

Thanks, Joe. Blame seems to be the wave of the future.
I like the way you look at things Jenna Dixon and will be doing a better job at #3

Thanks, Scott. #3 is sometimes easier said than done but I'm sure that you can embrace the mindset.
When I made the decision years ago to start going forward with all of my tattoo's I eliminated the need to look like and act like every other real estate agent/broker. I am who I am and I don't apologize for it. I know there are some homeowners that won't work with me because of how I look but there are other who will work with me because of it so it all balances out.

You're rocking your own world and that's all that will ever matter. For those who don't work with you, their loss!
