Three eliminations that have improved productivity - drastically!
1. For years our "phone system" has led callers to a voice-mail box unless we were available to answer the phone (rarely). When we designed our marketing campaign which launched a scant 6 weeks ago, we knew the calls would have to be answered "live". We did the research, and came up with the same selection as that recommended by Ron and Alexandra Seigel. VoiceNation For a very reasonable fee they answer the phone "live", in a USA based "call center", 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. They also offer a "Free Trial".
2. I've been on a crusade against unwanted email. Many domains are now 
auto-purged - I never see the emails - period. Many senders are now auto purged - I never see the emails - period. GoDaddy Webmail has a feature that allows me to identify "Preferred Senders" - people I want to hear from. These are at the top of the list and get my attention first. It's a task still in progress, but I've seen perhaps an 80% reduction in inbound emails.
3. Paper elimination. 62 bankers boxes are now down to 2 bankers boxes. All paper in the 60 boxes processed thus far has been scanned and "filed" if needed/wanted, and then discarded - shredded if it was worthy of shredding. I'm still struggling with the paper notes I write when I'm not in front of my desktop computer. Those tend to stack up until I process them all at once. Still working on that.
There are more - but saving those for a 'Rainy Day.
And so far the Marketing Campaign has generated 1 Listing for a mail out of 52 pieces and the Seller's call was answered by VoiceNation.
And the recent blogging efforts on Active Rain has generated 1 Listing and the Seller's call was answered by VoiceNation
And the combined list price of those two listings exceed $1,000,000.
And they are not "over-priced".
Another mailing goes out tomorrow.
