Good decisions Ed and focusing time on productive uninterrupted tasks will pay off. Have a good week.

Ed Silva - time sapper clients. It's best to say 'bye bye' to them! Sooner the better.

Yes Ed, I too struggle with these same time zappers during my 30 hour days, someday I may figure out how to handle them.

Good morning Ed. You are so right, unfortunately it happens, but not as badly as it once did. The sooner we stop or at least slow down the time sappers the better.

Good to be aware of the sponging effects...and what can be done to change the pattern and increase productivity.

Good morning Ed. Being aware of what is taking time away and is not productiveb is the key to changing behavior. Nice job.

Good morning, Ed... I didn't know that you knew me quite so well! Spent a chunk of the weekend cleaning my office and could see my floor and desk top by Monday. Today, that desk top is already harder to see.![]()

Plan your work, work your plan. Measure twice and cut once. Saving steps starts and ends with working smarter not harder.

Ed I really agree with your thoughts. If you let people they will suck your time away. It is not always easy to cut them off but it must be done.

#1 and #2 are pet peeves of mine too. They are like nails on a chalk board! Time is precious and we can't allow time suckers to absorb valuable time!
Ed,
I call them time bandits, LOL there are so many of them! I hope you have a great day!
Good morning Ed - I have time sappers too! Sometimes I wish there were more hours in the day, but being more organized would definitely help.
oH, MY, preachin' to the choir here, Ed. I guess I need to take that last one first. I get a bit scrambled and yet, most of the time can land that one piece of paper when I need it because i realize how bad I am at the paperwork and so have put orginizational tools in place to override my need to gently shove a paper out of the way.
It is ALWAYS a work-in-progress.
Hi Ed, Time sapper clients are a wreck to my weekly scheduling. The problem is recognizing them before they do their damage.
Hello Ed ...
I feel your pain my friend and have had a few of these myself ![]()

Guilty of having a few of #1 and #2 clients and referral partners, Ed. And although I've gotten better at being more vocal or moving things along, I still struggle with certain people. I'm a work in progress .. and you post reminds me to keep on trying ...

I really need #3 myself!
Somehow it keeps piling up - LOL!
All the best - Lynn
I spent an hour with a buyer that can't buy until they keep a job for 2 years. Almost got bored, but ended up polite and told them good luck and I'll stay in touch.
