And then there is the waiting!

We live in a time where instant communication is everywhere.

As Realtors, our lives are surrounded by connections, communications, contracts, negotiations, documentation, etc.

Many times, even with a multitude of ways to communicate, we wait.

Many years ago I learned a very important life lesson.

This lesson was, other people have lives!!

Imagine my surprise and dismay when I actually tested this theory and began quizzing folks about their events of THEIR day. Can you believe it? they actually had something else to do that day other than sitting by the phone or computer waiting with baited breath for the moment I would contact them!! :^}

I am exaggerating a bit, as I sometimes do in order to enhance the fun of the story, yet the realization of this fact leads me to my point.

Waiting is nothing more than a great excuse to find your "most important to get done today" list and knock some of those things out of the park.

I have found that while waiting for answers I also see possibility in success and therefore host a very positive outlook.

Positivity has always been my "go to" emotion when either waiting or plowing through difficult details.

So waiting CAN be a positive thing?

Really?

Pull the other leg and it plays jingle bells! :^}

Waiting is really not my strong suite yet I always attempt to do my best to live the way I portrayed in this post.

Live Long and Prosper!

It is true, patience is one of the ''must have'' in this business. Not all calls are returned, not all offers are accepted or even replied to, not all clients get results they need or want. But you just need to do your best.
