All thou Granite Heroes main service area is the city of Chicago, we wouldn’t be the Heroes without a journey to a land distant and far away. This project took us to a town North West of Chicago called Barrington, IL.  Barrington is an affluent area in Illinois, near the chain lakes, with gorgeous forest and rolling hills. What awaited us was a gorgeous terrazzo floor which after several years of wear and tear needed the Heroes to restore the polished look the terrazzo is intended to have.

First we honed the terrazzo down to 400 grit with diamond polishing disks.  These are the top of the line tool designed sand the surface of the terrazzo to a high shine.  Traffic wear was removed and a deep. Clear crystal like finish was the result of the 6 phase honing process implemented on this Barrington terrazzo floor polishing project.
