Historic District of Reynoldstown
Reynoldstown is a historic district and neighborhood on the near east side of Atlanta, Georgia located only 2 miles from downtown. Many people are opposed to long commuts and are moving into the trendy neighborhoods of Atlanta. Reynoldstown is very trendy. The neighborhood is attracting new families, empty-nesters, diverse culture of first-time homebuyers, single professionals, artist and students. Reynoldstown has a high walkability index, urban amenities and nearby bohemian hotspots on Carroll Street in the adjoined-at-the-hip also historic Cabbagetown neighborhood and other surrounding communities. This neighborhood is warm, welcoming and is rich in local history.
The BeltLine bisects Reynoldstown north-south. It currently functions as a walking trail within Reynoldstown, destined for future use as a paved walking and biking trail, and possibly for transit use (either light rail or streetcar).
