On May 26th, The Palm Beach Soil & Water Conservation District board voted to appoint Mr. Stephen Jara to fill Seat 3, which had been previously vacant. Mr. Jara is a Palm Beach County native, born and raised in Boynton Beach. His father owned a tree nursery and landscaping and sprinkler business and his mother was a Realtor. Following in the footsteps of his parents, Mr. Jara founded and managed Pristine Properties, a full service real estate company specializing in recreational and agriculture real estate and currently works with Golden Bear Realty and owns a cattle ranch and tree farm.
Mr. Jara serves on several boards and committees, some of which include; The South Palm Beach Chapter Coastal Conservation Association, Snook & Gamefish Foundation, and is past President-Elect for the Okeechobee County Board of Realtors.
