Friday fish fry is a great way for St. Joseph’s in Stevens Point to kick off their annual parish picnic.
An evening of games, refreshments, and the Country Store and basket raffle is highlighted by music from the River Cities Jazz band.
Saturday afternoon the festivities begin with Mass in the tent, music provided by St. Joe’s Folk Choir. This evening also unfolds with games, refreshments, the Country Store, and basket raffle. Music by Gray Catz accompanies these activities.
Sunday is a full day with the above activities, Mass under the tent, with music provided by The Choraleers with Duane & Tom from The Old Time Brass; a chicken dinner served from 11:30 – 1:30 and BINGO at 2:00 in the family center. There is dancing to country and old time music, from 11:30 – 1:30 by The Old Time Brass. The Harmony Kings and Keepers of Honky are the featured bands from 1:30 – 6:30.
At 6:30 the weekend event wraps up with the main drawing of the $1000 prize. Come on out for some great family entertainment.
