Welcome to the ongoing weekly series called Tuesday Travelogue. We are in our 94th week! Each week, some ActiveRain bloggers are spotlighted to take us somewhere we may not have been on some kind of virtual travel (and it doesn't cost a dime!). Here is the purpose:
to enjoy the ride"
"take a trip without even leaving the farm"
"expand your horizons"
"see through someone else's eyes"
and hopefully much more!
With real estate going absolutely bonkers around here, it's been a bit hairy trying to pull together a Tuesday Travelogue before the day actually ends. Even more frustrating today: coming up with a THEME.
So, today, my running theme is to just pluck some pithy posts from the Travellers in the Rain Group, (click on the link to join and share your travels) because you guys always have wonderful places that you go and share and that makes easy pickin's for me!
Kicking off summer! This lovely post by Bob Crane just pulled at my Spring-to-Summer heartstrings!
Start of Summer in the Northwoods
Do you think of THIS when you think of George Washington??
This is a photo taken by our photoblogger, none other than Roy Kelley! He has ventured out past his copious amounts of flower photos to show us another side to him. George Washington's Mt. Vernon--a trip he took and shared great photos.
We now take a quick jaunt to Italy! Hungry anyone? How about a Last Supper? Food for the soul. Thank you, Bob Gilbert! Took that one off your bucket list, huh??
Arctic summer anyone?? Jon Zolsky shares his years spent in the Russian Artic.
Let me get you out of the snow and warm you up a bit--how about Miami?? Just a mansion away; Things to do in Miami, brought to you by your tour guide, Marco Giancola.
Well, that's it for our traveling tour today on this fine Tuesday! Hope you didn't break a sweat making that "arduous journey"!
Please don't forget to comment on these blog posts and I hope that you enjoyed all of these virtual travels.
