Keys Creek Lavender Farm

We visited the Keys Creek Lavender Farm in Valley Center back in 2010 when they had one of their rare public open houses. The setting is spectacular, surrounded by mountains, open space and other farms, and the lavender was in full bloom. The Farm offers a bunch of different lavender products - honey, tea, jams, baked goods and more. During their open house they have food available, entertainment, craft making and more. If you are ever in the area or want to spend a little time n the country, the Keys Creek Lavender Farm is a terrific outing. Ask to meet Alicia Wolff, the owner who hails from Australia.

Currently, the farm is open from 10 - 3 Wednesday through Sunday, with tours by reservation on Saturdays and Sundays.

Very neat Jeff Dowler CRS what a beautiful setting. I love the palms and the hills, something we don't see in the heart of the plains.

Belinda Spillman  - we are big fans of lavender but seem to have a challenge growing it. This farm was truly amazing - this was just a small peek!

 And the smell in the costal breezes was amazing. We had a great time visiting.

It was a pretty cool place. 

It took me a while to get uses to the hills and the palm trees here. Back in New England there were so many trees and you tended to not see vast expanses of open space

Seeing the rich purple color I can almost smell the lavender. Oh yes, it is the lavender oil I have on my neck to help me relax. What a perfect combination, your photo and the scent of the oil.
