Flicks at the Fountain in Carlsbad Village
Yes, it’s that time again.
Carlsbad will be offering the free Flicks at the Fountain outdoor movie series in Carlsbad Village on Thursday nights beginning July 7.
Flicks at the Fountain is a free outdoor movie series in downtown Carlsbad Village by the fountain, in the parking lot at the corner of State Street and Grand Avenue. The series will run through August 25.
Here’s the movie line-up:
July 7 Minions
July 14 Field of Dreams
July 21 Honey I Shrunk the Kids
July 28 Cinderella
August 4 Swiss Family Robinson
August 11 Inside Out
August 18 Earth to Echo
August 25 Zootopia
Seating for the Flicks starts at 6 PM and movies begin around dusk (8 PM). Bring blankets, chairs and food/snacks to enjoy, or stop by one of the many local restaurants and vendors in the area. If I had to choose a local place to grab some food it would be either Prontos Gourmet Market on Jefferson or the Vigilucci’s Gourmet Market on State Street a block away.
