!. An individual is not a failure. They may have failures but they are not failures. We all fail at times but the real question is do we get up, dust ourselves off and continue moving forward or do we quit. And I believe in never giving up. As I hear the Texas A and M Aggies often say - "We didn't lose we just got out scored." And that has become my attitude. You may outscore me but I didn't lose.
2. In every disapointment you should hope to learn something. An error or mistake has geat value when you learn from it. As many very sharp people say - "You learn a lot more from your mistakes than you will ever learn from your successes." And I work hard to do this.
3. Quit the blame game. As an adult you need to take responsibility for your actions and their outcome and/or consequences. Your life is a canvas only you paint.
4. Do not compare yourself to others. You are uniquely you and no one else has your strengths or weakness. Be proud to be you.
5. Try to forget your errors. This one is hard for me but when I do move on I am happier and more successful. No one has the ability to change the past. And when I put a period on it, I focus and make better decisions reference pressing current issues.
