We are so busy with our work, lives that often we do not even pause for a second to see what our local neighborhood market trends are like. I see people getting up early and see them coming home late. Once in a while I run into a neighbor and the question is (like in the old days) How is the Market. Some have time for me to tell them others just say wow that is interesting could you send me an email about it.
Needless to say that tells me others who I do not know personally are interested in the same information.
So check out these numbers:
To some this is hard to imagine. The market activity in Westchester seemed to have cooled off a bit. The question is why. Well here is the answer when in three years the Median Sales Price increases by $300,000.00 that should make a lot of people pause. Clearly it is harder to buy a home since most people's Income has not kept pace with the price increases. Well at least the ones that are considering moving to the 90045 zip code.
The good news is that interest rates are still stable and low, so if you are on the fence to buy, it is clearly still better than waiting too long.
