Mastering the Art of Communication Can Mean Silence

Elizabeth, unfortunately people are so used to texting or emailing back an INSTANT REPLY, they should go and have a cup of coffee first. The receiver of one these instant missives, should pick up the phone and get it straightened out. Especially in our business.

You are so right Elizabeth that many of us speak first and think later. Being silent for a moment is not the end of the earth and can save foor and mouth disease.

I do a lot more listening than talking.  I have very strong opinions about a lot of things, but I can usually tell when it would be useless to share those opinions.

I see this all the time on social media too.  Put that same person right in front of you, alive and in person, and I doubt they'd be saying the same things ... or at least with the same "tude" ...
