MARKET REPORTS & ANALYSIS
- The safe move is to lock rates. MBS yields have moved sideways since June 6. MBS yields are up against overhead pressure and odds are against breakout. However, if there is a breakout it will be large.
- The Core YOY PPI data is more inflationary than expected and follows yesterday's big jump in Import Prices (another inflationary report)
- Long bonds hate inflation and this is certainly negative for pricing however, MBS will do nothing until the Fed meeting today
