Grab your camera and take a moment to explore the outdoors for Nature Photography Day. Head to the backyard, park, or other place close to take a walk, hike, or ride a bike and capture Mother Nature at her finest.
This day was designated by The North American Nature Photography Association (NANPA) to promote the enjoyment of nature photography, and to explain how images have been used to advance the cause of conservation and protect plants, wildlife, and landscapes locally and worldwide.
Some of my most favorite nature images comes from our travels across the globe. It’s amazing to see all the beauty our land has to offer. Here are some photos I especially love from our wedding in Ravello, Italy back in July 2014.

Now, you don’t need to travel the world to find nature that takes your breath away. What inspires you? Share your nature photos over on our Facebook Fan Page I’d love to see them. While it’s great to take photos most people leave them on their camera roll or in a box somewhere to collect dust and become a distant memory. Rather take these moments in time and turn them into decor displayed around a home. One of the easiest ways to embrace your neighborhoods surroundings or inspire visitors into your home to get lost in nature is to showcase it. We are always using nature in our staging and decor projects. Click here for three ways to use your nature photos in your home.
