Dahlia in our Kentlands home garden, Gaithersburg, Maryland
Dahlias grow very well in Kentlands, our home community within the City of Gaithersburg, in the heart of Montgomery County, Maryland. One of the benefits is that they will keep blooming until the first frost in the fall.
If you want a background like this when you photograph flowers, simply use a sheet of paper behind the flower.
Subhash Sharma "This delightful dahlia (genus Dahlia) is the national flower of Mexico known for its continuous, colourful flowers that bloom throughout the growing season. The dahlia comes in variety of colours, shapes and sizes, making it a favourite flower among landscapers and florists alike. The beauty of the dahlia flower inspired great symbolic meaning during the Victorian era and continues to be used today to express personal sentiments."
