(SARASOTA, FL) - Through the years, real estate has traditionally lent itself to the family dynamic. It is evident throughout the industry, and most certainly on the Abbe-Mullinnix team. Though the team, Abbe | Mullinnix Distinctive Properties, is named for partners Steve Abbe and Betty Mullinnix, the team’s third (and mostly silent) Realtor® is Gene Bretoi, Mullinnix’s husband. Joan Marie Erni, the Team Coordinator, a former New York State Associate Broker, worked alongside her mother for many years in real estate companies on Long Island prior to moving to Sarasota. Most recently, Shannon Abbe has joined the team as a part-time administrative assistant.
Shannon, a senior at Riverview High School, is the daughter of Steve Abbe. She will work assisting the team throughout the summer. Although unsure if this will be her ultimate career choice, Shannon says, “I’m enjoying learning the ropes of the industry in which my father has worked for so long, and so hard.” Ms. Abbe will attend college beginning in August.
Joining Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Realty in late 2014, the team works from the Palmer Ranch Branch Office located on South Tamiami Trail. Mullinnix, Associate Broker, and Abbe, a PGA Golf Professional have nearly a half century of combined real estate experience. Consistently ranked in the Top 1% of area Realtors® they list and sell in all areas and price ranges. However, the team’s specialty is golf properties, and no other Realtor® sells more golf properties in the area than Abbe-Mullinnix.
