Here are a few things to keep in mind when looking for a home for rent with me, or in general in SD.
1) You are better off to have an agent help you, that represents YOU. You pay nothing. The seller is the one that pays "some type" of compensation. Agents who work with rentals are at the mercy of the comepenstion offered, unless agreed upon in writing, otherwise.
2) See number 1 again.
3) You will need to provide the following almost immeditaely when looking at a rental. Rental App provided by your agent, recent credit print out for anyone on lease, 2-3 mo bank statements, 2-3 mo pay stubs, be willing to provide a short bio of you and or your family to help owner better understand who you are, if asked.
4) Work with an agent that is fast and responsive, if you want to get the home for rent that just came out, on see #5 below.
