NYC Subways Could Still Offer A Pleasant Commute

By

I was checking out the Hearst Building in NYC after providing a Feng Shui walking tour and decided to take the subway near by back to Penn Station. I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised with what I saw and smelled. That right, even the smell counts. NYC subways system's are known for their funk (especially in the summer time).

This subway descent was enjoyable because I was greeted with the aroma of food and colorful walls, floors and even artwork along the ceiling. The lighting was also a great enhancer for the energy flow. It would be great to see all the subway systems have this type of presentation for commuters.

Besides that, the New York City Subway System is considerd amoung the worlds best to navigate with its color-coded and letter-or-number-named lines.

Very neat Laura Cerrano it's neat to see something positive about the subways.

Great shot Laura! I love the subways, use them all the time and some of the stops have incredible art, sculpture and history to them.
