Blogging For Leads  Part 1

Have you ever caught yourself wishing you could get traffic from the search engines without having to pay for a single click?

In today's lesson we're going to teach you precisely how to start doing just that using a free blog from Blogger.com .

It's important you follow the tips we share with you as they really will help you build an almost instant web presence as well as automated prospecting system you can use to farm your area via the internet.

But how will a free blog help get prospects from your farm area to notice you?

You need to understand that blogs get better search engine rankings than websites do.

That means more prospects will find you in the search engines!

More Prospects = Bigger And More Frequent Commission Checks

Quick & Easy Tip

If you do not have the time to put a quality blog together our free internet marketing package is a great way to get started in blogging your way to more sales in your real estate career.

What we do is set you up with a professional blog that is fully customized to your real estate business.  Click the above link for more information.

Do It Yourself Tip
To get started with your first blog just follow these simple steps:

1)  Create a free blog on Blogger.com .

2)  Go to Wordtracker.com (right now they are offering a free trial) and search for the keywords local residents enter into the search engines when they are looking for information real estate related.  (Will explain more on this in a later lesson).

3)  Write several articles and add them to your blog using the keywords you researched from step 2.  (Will also explain more on this in a later lesson too).

4)  Submit your blog url to the internet feeds and blog directories.

5)  Check your blog stats daily as you will start receiving traffic very quickly.

For first time bloggers, a free blog from Blogger.com is a great way to get started in the blogosphere as it allows agents to set up and host a blog without having to make a financial investment and given today's market every penny saved is a penny earned for sure.

Blogger.com actually provides you with all of the tools that you need to get your blog up and running without spending any money means that you have nothing to lose by starting a blog.

The fact that it is so easy to find a way to blog for free is one of the reasons why so many real estate agents who have never had any other kind of web presence before find themselves drawn to blogging.

By signing up with a free blogging web site you will also find it easier to get listed in search engines that you would if you were starting your own blog from scratch.

For example, Google runs the free blog hosting site Blogger.com and crawls its pages very often looking for updates, so if you have your site hosted by Blogger.com you are almost guaranteed to be listed on Google's blog search engine!

This easy access to search engines can take some of the work out of promoting your blog, and can help you gain a following with a minimum of marketing effort.

When your blog starts attracting a large readership you will want to
consider moving your site. Many agents feel that having their blog  hosted by a free blogging web site gives it a kind of amateur flavor that is fine for a new bloggers but is not appropriate for a high-profile blog.

Having your own domain can help you make your blog feel professional and finding a company that will host your domain is not difficult or expensive.

Starting your blog on a free blogging web site like Blogger.com is a great way to build a following before you spend any money on your blog.

When your blog becomes popular and you are ready to take the next step and purchase your own domain your readers will follow you to your new home. The fact that it is possible to use a free blog host like Blogger.com as a kind of incubator for your blog is great news for bloggers everywhere.

For now make it your homework to go out right now and get yourself a free blog at Blogger.com because in future lessons we will be sharing tips and tactics on how to use the blog to start attracting qualified and motivated local prospects to your real estate business.

I hate to say it, but I did not get much from this. It really seemed like more of an advertisement for blogger.com. maybe part II will tell how to get more leads via the internet, I guess we'll have to wait and see.
