Is Summer a Good Time to Sell My House in Manteo?

After looking at the data in the chart below it looks like summer is not the best time to sell a house in Manteo. The chart below represents the total dollar amount of homes sold in Manteo during each month of 2015. This data tracks the actual closed sales, closed sales mean the buyer and seller  exchanged money for a deed. It takes 30-40 days to get all the paperwork done for a closing to occur. This means the shopping and contract writing was completed 30 to 45 days prior.

June had the highest number of closings, which means the buyers typically started looking in March or April and most contracts were written in the end of April and May.
