Tenant’ Lawyer Conditions

Sometimes, it’s necessary for the Tenant’s lawyer to approve the Agreement to Lease and/or the Lease itself.

Here are two clauses to consider:

1)    Business Terms

This Offer is conditional upon the approval of the agreement between the parties by the Tenant’s Solicitor including both the legal terms and the business terms, more particularly the financial terms, time periods, liabilities arising out of this agreement, and any other agreement, undertaking or liability that might arise by reason of the Tenant having entered into this agreement.”

2)    Genreral

This Offer is conditional upon the approval of the terms hereof by the Tenant’s Solicitor. Unless the Tenant gives notice in writing delivered to the Landlord in accordance with the provisions for the delivery of notice in this Agreement or any Schedule thereto not later than 5:00 p.m. on xx June 2016, that this condition is fulfilled, this Offer shall be null and void and the deposit shall be returned to the Buyer in full without deduction. This condition is included for the benefit of Tenant and may be waived at the Tenant’s sole option by notice in writing to the Landlord as aforesaid within the time period stated herein.
