National Geographic just did a feature article with the headline All the Cool Kids Love Columbus, Ohio.

It is good to be recognized as a COOL place to live and the highlights noted in the article about being a friendly city. being a growing fashion, the arts, entreprenuial spirit and craft beer, are all true, it doesn't mention some of the other reasons that make Columbus great.

Things like being a major banking center, the high tech companies that are based here, major transportation hubs including FedEx and UPS, major retail companies and distribution centers research facilities, respected hospitals and medical research.  All of this contributes to providing above average employment opportunites.

Of course THE Ohio State University, world class libraries and the Columbus Zoo, Sports and  the investment in infrastructure improvements make it easy to access all Columbus has to offer.

Pat Champion thanks for the kind words, Columbus does have something for just about everyone, including affordable housing. Hope to  find a decent pizza place in the Eustis/Tavares/Mount Dora area when I am there, been diappointing so far except for Stavro's I stumbled on the last time.

Susan Laxson Ohio is "The heart of it all" and just a lttle "too cool" in the winter the older I get, lol. Thanks for your nice comment!
