Did you know Home Staging is Tax Deductible?

I recently read an article written in the kansascity.com business section.  The link to the article is below if you'd like to read the full article.

The synopsis is this: If a home owner hires a home stager directly and they are performing a service with the specific purpose of selling the home, the cost and expenses incurred for hiring this professional would be considered deductible. Specifically, home staging would be considered "advertising fees" and would fall under the allowable selling expenses.

In today's competetive housing market home staging is a great tool to get your home sold faster and for more money, and it's nice to learn it's tax deductible to boot!
