Moths Have Big Heads

Moth1 by Bob TimmI happened to notice this little guy on the exterior wall of our home next to the front door. He is only about the size of a dime but he seemed so out of proportion with his BIG Head.

I didn't really notice his beauty until I got the picture into my Photoscape program to crop and resize the picture. One I did crop and re-size his color really came to life including what looks like a nice head of brown hair (yes I'm jealous).

Like the bumble bee I wondered how this thin could fly when it appears that half it's body is head. I know all moths have bi heads but I thouht this one was more out of proportion that most. I also noticed he/she had a mate. Moth2 by Bob Timm

I suppose that it is good that big head moth is not alone.

Maybe it's good for a moth to have a big head, not so good to have a Realtor with a big head.

The Realtors I've worked with that had/have big heads usually are a big pain in the butt.

The older I get the more my ego shrinks. I've never had a big head but then again I've never seen anything in the mirror to get a big head over (or in my bank ballance either). I do however get a big head from time to time when I start talking about my wonderful kids.

It looks like he had a wool sandwich or something.  He would only last a second or two if he was near my furry friend.

Oh bob you crack me up! I was so fascinated with the story about the moth with the big head and then by the time I got to the end I was laughing out loud!

Just the other day I read something that said people with a big ego need to get rid of the e and just go. But I know, that has nothing to do with you, I just wanted to pass along something I read.

Fabulous photo Bob "RealMan" Timm and a wonderful tie-in to our industry!  And parents are always allowed a big head when it comes to talking about their children

I think the design of some moths is fascinating.  I remember a trip to Palm Springs one year.  There was this giant moth that at first glance I though was a clump of leaves.

Bob, I've never gotten close enough to a moth to appreciate their big heads!  Pretty cool.

Bob

It's amazing what a super closeup will bring out in a photo. An amazing photo.

Good luck and success.
